What is a bookplate?

A bookplate is a specially designed plate that is hand-signed by the author and carefully affixed inside the book. Every bookplate is personally signed, making each copy a genuine piece of author-signed memorabilia.

Most of our bookplates are custom-designed by our award-winning design team for a specific title, created exclusively for Premiere Collectibles. When a book is signed on a bookplate rather than directly on the page, this will be clearly and prominently noted on the product page.

Many Premiere Collectibles bookplates are exclusive, limited collector’s editions created specifically for our customers and not available through other retailers. These signed editions are set apart by their custom design and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, providing collectors with confidence in the signature and the long-term value of their collectible.
